Moving with Purpose
Happy Movers was founded in 2022 in Richmond, Virginia, by Jaima McReynolds after years of working in workforce development and the labor industry. She saw that moving and other labor jobs could be more than just a paycheck, they could be a stepping stone for people to get back on their feet, develop new skills, and discover their true purpose.
With that vision, Jaima launched Happy Movers to create good-paying jobs and give customers a better moving experience. Every time you book with us, you’re helping our team build confidence and stability that carries into their next venture, while receiving a level of service rarely found in the labor industry: great people with great attitudes who genuinely care about their work.
Humble Beginnings
What began as one woman and a single truck quickly became a movement. When that first truck broke down just months later, we didn’t quit. We rented vehicles, until we could purchase our own and moved families one box at a time, and built our reputation on 5-star service and relentless commitment.
